Public Works

The Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge Public Works Department provides:

• Inspections and minor repairs on bridges, roads and sidewalks
• Maintenance of the Rosslyn Water Treatment Centre
• Winter maintenance operations which includes snow plowing and snow removal, as well as sanding and salting operations to provide for safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians
• Summer maintenance includes dust control, roadside maintenance, grading and lane maintenance
• Maintenance on road crossing culverts and driveway culverts
• Responsible for Municipal signs, entrance permits and fire numbers

NOTICE OF LOAD RESTRICTION FOR MAKI ROAD, MURILLO

Effective November 3, 2010 Maki Road between McNally Drive and John Street Road will have a 3000 kg Gross Load Restiction at the Corbett Creek Bridge (between fire #'s 251 and 274).

Please use Mud Lake Road and John Street Road as an alternate route as the bridge will have a load restriction on it until further notice.
