Copies of the Hwy 11/17, Route Planning Study - Kakabeka to Shabaqua Public Information Centre (PIC) Displays for the above mentioned project are now available for public viewing at the Municipal Office, 4569 Oliver Rd, Murillo. The MTO has made available maps from east of Poleline Road to Shabaqua Corners as well as Kakabeka Falls Village area. It is encouraged that all residents come by to view the maps.

At the January 10, 2010 council meeting a deputation was received from Kakabeka Bypass Committee. Council passed a resolution formally recognizing and supporting the Committee.
