Oliver Paipoonge is nestled strategically at the Head of the Great Lakes, near the geographical center of North America. We are 20kilometres west of the City of Thunder Bay, and 33 miles from the U.S. (Minnesota) border. The Municipality contains three villages, Kakabeka Falls, Murillo and Rosslyn. The remainder of the municipality is agricultural or rural. Agriculture is the primary industry carried out within the municipality with tourism focused around Kakabeka Falls, being second. Forest products manufacturing is third, with facilities located in Rosslyn and Murillo.
